The “Empowering Africa through Academic Mobility for Climate Change Mitigation, Adaptation, and Sustainable Development (AAM-CSD)” program is a significant academic project that promotes cooperation between higher education institutions in Africa. This program seeks to make it simpler for students, staff, trainers, and researchers to travel around Africa, typically operating through organizations such as the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, which is funded by the European Union.
Initiative is based on a well-planned and supportive collaboration of five notable higher teaching, research, and learning institutions. This consortium brings together four top African universities from various geographical and ecological areas, along with a highly regarded European technical partner. This arrangement is intended to make the most of each institution’s special strengths, encourage strong partnerships between Southern and Northern nations, and build a strong combined effort to tackle the complex issues related to climate change and sustainable development in Africa. Project overview includes:-
-Develop an inter-African academic mobility program focused on the research of climate change and sustainable development.
– Enhance employability in green jobs and improve higher education quality.
