Mobility

The AAM-CSD project, which stands for African academic mobility for climate change mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable development, provides several fully-funded mobility opportunities that allow students, staff, and trainers to travel. The aim is to boost skills and teamwork between universities in Africa. This initiative focuses mainly on four types of academic mobility: Master’s degree studies, Doctoral degree studies, Short-Term training for educators, and Short-Term travel for staff aimed at teaching or training. These travel opportunities are clearly defined among the universities in the partnership, making sure that the exchanges fit with the specific research and learning plans created under the project’s guidelines that pertain to climate change mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable development. The main aim of these mobility programs is to help share knowledge, skills, and effective methods in areas related to climate change and sustainable growth, which in turn builds the academic and research strengths of the universities involved. The intention is to offer specialized experiences that improve the abilities of the home institutions when the traveling participants come back.
