Arba Minch University (AMU)

AMU, located in Ethiopia and the East African region, provides specialized knowledge aimed at tackling the significant global issue of water resource engineering and climate change. It is dedicated to working on reducing the effects of climate change, adapting to it, and promoting sustainable development through its research, training programs, and development of skills. The university offers expertise in various fields such as hydraulic engineering, irrigation and drainage engineering, water and  environmental  engineering, sustainable water resource engineering, hydropower engineering, and addressing climate change and sustainable development. This knowledge is applied to reduce climate change issues and foster sustainable development and education throughout Ethiopia, the East African region, and the entire African continent. The main organization overseeing this initiative is AMU, which is responsible for coordination and management, as well as administration and strategy oversight, while also providing assistance to the AAM-CSD Project.
