A Community Call Ahead of the Arba Minch University Research School
Arba Minch University, in collaboration with international and African research partners, is preparing an international research school on Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Landslide Risk Reduction in Southern Ethiopia, proposed under the ICMS Mathematics for Humanity initiative.
Bringing together mathematicians, statisticians, data scientists, and disaster risk practitioners, the school will explore how mathematical modelling, spatial statistics, and data-driven methods can support landslide risk assessment, early warning systems, and community resilience.
Join us in turning mathematics into action to protect lives and build safer communities!
Further announcements on dates, participation, and registration will follow.
